Today’s WOD was kick ass and the hike afterwards sealed the deal! Check out the Strava embed below. This hike is a hidden gem on Whidbey Island. I’ve been here almost 30 years and this is the first time I have hiked the trail. I will be doing it again. The workout was a beast today. I totally hammered on my legs before I realized Vicki wanted to go on this hike today. Oh well, the workout did not really affect my hike other than a bit of rubberiness going up and down the cliff. 225# on the front squat was not that difficult and I am pretty sure I could get another 10-15 pounds out of the legs. I am feeling like I have a new outlook on my fitness lately. 🙂
