WOD Squat Perfection…
I intentionally went with lower weights on today WOD session to really try and perfect the full crossfit style squat. Glad tomorrow is a rest day after this week…
Doing squats the proper way can provide incredible power as we have seen at the Games. Its effectiveness has been lost due to inappropriate form, improper instruction, and laziness. You can do variations like one leg, standing, pile, wide-stance, and overhead squat. By doing repetitions, you can feel your legs getting tired which means its taking its effect.
Let me ask; Is it right that I am always sore? Ever since I started crossfit, my body is always in a state of pain. I’ve had to really get into the mobility side of things! Even still, I hurt. I guess when you are in your upper 40’s, it takes a lot longer to recover from doing Crossfit WOD’s…

As soon as I saw this image of the tree, I immediately thought of crossfit and doing squats!
My wife has told me that my butt has improved a lot since starting Crossfit, but I don’t think I have anything close to this fine ass tree… It takes treehuggers to a whole new level…
