Today’s WOD was tough! It was hard to get motivated to get into the gym. But once I was there, it was on like donkey kong! I’m actually amazed I was able to get 96 reps on that metcon considering I did not take any time between sessions. I completed all four sessions in 45 minutes. Now that I am the safety/security manager and have to work around my team’s lunch hours, it makes things a bit more complicated. I just can’t spend an hour and ten minutes in the gym and not worry about it. It’s cool though because I feel it’s pushing me to really turn up the volume. This can only help build the engine right? If not, it damn sure feels like it is. However, if I don’t get out of the mother-in-laws house soon, I’m going to explode in size. The old women around here really want to feed me way to much and I feel guilty not accepting their offerings. Or is that just an excuse to overeat?
