WOD Type: “Strength & Metcon Training”
WOD Warm-Up:
30 minute standard warm-up for mobility. I have also added overhead squat / Snatch Preparation Routine… Mobility man stretches.
WOD Particulars:
Strength Work: Cleans of 115# 5 sets @ 5 reps
MetCon: 15, 12, 9 of:
- 30# Dumbbell Thrusters
- Double Unders @ 50,40,30 Reps
Today’s WOD was completed, but not for time. I am essentially just working on getting the heart rate up high and developing form. During this sick flu period I’m experiencing, I figured it would be best to not overdue it considering I have a tendency of developing pneumonia.
Overall, it was nice to just do a workout without the thought of killing myself in the opens events!
Teachable Moment:
WOD Moment… The Social Killer…
