WOD: Strength Day 8:
WOD Strength Session will be 5 Sets @ 1 Reps Heavy of:
- Deadlift: 230 #’s
After my Strength WOD Routine, I completed a MetCon of:
- 10 1.5 POOD Kettlebell Swings
- 10 Pushups
- 10 Box Jumps @ 20″
My time for this MetCon was 6:50. I also had a PR in my deadlift today. I’ve never deadlifted 230 pounds and I did 5 solid sets with 1 rep max!
WOD Beast in Training…
Each of my workouts over the last 8 days have been strength oriented. Even though I am hurting after each workout, the next day leaves me feeling fully recovered. I am now starting to come up with my own MetCon’s to intensify the workout by hitting my weak points.
