Today’s WOD was just a normal feeling workout. Nothing to write home about… With the exceptions of doing squats for the first time in quite a while! That was nice. However, I paid dearly for it the rest of the day. I am amazed that I went from 350# all the way back to 115#! That’s how screwed up my knee is. I’m really bummed over this and cannot get it really looked at until I get home in the middle of January! I completed the MetCon in 22:11 and then walked straight up to the helideck and completed my one hour walk. Hoping the weather is good for the rest of this sorry ass water trip I’m on. I will have one hell of a tan by the time I get back home. Something to look forward to until that day comes!
NUTRITION:
I ate cereal for breakfast even though I said I must stop eating now as it has increased my acid reflux situation. Yes, it hit me again and you know what really pisses me off about this? The fact that I refuse to go into the galley and eat breakfast because the scumbag works that shift and you just don’t have a clue as to what that guy does to the food when no one else is around! For lunch, I ate Asian food which was a bit better than the normal as far as how its cooked. Just a wee bit healthier. However, I am swollen up because of all the salt they cook with. 19 Days more and I will be back home eating much healthier. Hell, if we ate McDonald’s every day, it would be just as healthy as eating out here… Just my thoughts!
Book To Read:

Olympic Weightlifting: A Complete Guide for Athletes & Coaches
419 pages that breaks down each move and adds all the supplemental exercises too. There is even a section that covers nutrition. I really like the content of the book. It covers Olympic Lifts and that’s it! Everything that will improve your snatch and your clean & jerk. You really need to pick up this book…
