Treadmill Walk: 3 Miles in 57:10
Today’s WOD was a outstandingly brutal! I really thought I was going to die on the deadlifts with the rig rocking the way it is in these 20 foot seas! Yep, nasty ass weather and high seas won’t stop me from getting in a good workout… I liked doing it this morning and plan on getting a few more workouts done in the morning around 9am. Figure I stay in the office until 9-10 every night, I can workout during the early work hours of the day. Besides, all the guys who are staying with the rig after we get laid off are working out on tour which I think is not cool. They still have a job to do out here. Keep the rig in motion… Anyway, I finished up with a 3 mile walk on the treadmill because of how nasty the weather was today. Hoping it is good tomorrow. I wanna get some more sun!
Book To Read:
Olympic Weightlifting By Greg Everett… Absolutely KICKASS!!!
Olympic Weightlifting: A Complete Guide for Athletes & Coaches
419 pages that breaks down each move and adds all the supplemental exercises too. There is even a section that covers nutrition. I really like the content of the book. It covers Olympic Lifts and that’s it! Everything that will improve your snatch and your clean & jerk. You really need to pick up this book…
