WOD Type: Strength
Complete 5 Sets for 5 Reps of:
- Deadlifts
WOD Warm-Up:
30 minute standard warm-up for mobility. I have also added overhead squat / Snatch Preparation Routine… Mobility man stretches. I also included two sets of 10 reps of deadlifts @ 135#.
WOD Particulars:
Today’s WOD came the website again. I completed all 5 sets and 5 reps on each of the sets! Real happy about that…
As for the lift weight:
- First set at a weight of 225#
- Second Weighted set @ 235#
- Third set @ 245#
- Fourth set @ 255#
- Fifth and final set @ 275#
Teachable Moment:
Bodybuilding is a sport of building muscle. Bigger and stronger is the name of the game. One of the great things about bodybuilding is that you can achieve great results with only very basic equipment and a few hours of training three to four times per week.
The key to building bigger and stronger muscles is to keep progressively adding more and more weight over time. Building bigger muscles is about consistent regular training, eating properly, getting plenty of rest, and lots of weight at low repetitions.
