Well, it has been 12 days since I’ve been able to post my vlog and I’m going stir crazy. I’m just dying to burn up the bandwidth and post at least Vlog 021. I just started editing Vlog 032 and since it is now rendering and I’ve got some time on my hands, I decided to post a blog…
In today’s Vlog, I volunteered to help the catering crew set up Christmas decorations in the galley. Wow, can you say an all afternoon affair? Holy moly! Anyway, it was a blast and Shane and Miss D. were a lot of fun to hang out with. We didn’t finish, but man did we get close. I think we only have a few things left and the Galley will be ready for Christmas. Today’s vlog has a lot of the decorating in it. In fact, I pre-set the vlog in editing before I cut up the video and today’s is a monster. There is over an Hour of footage I will have to break down to about 12-15 minutes max.
A little update as to our current weather in the Atlantic Ocean: It Sucks Ass!!! We are currently in 17-20 foot waves, 40 mph winds and a storm is right in our path… We will be hitting it sometime tomorrow. However, the way the rig is moving, we may already be in it. I’m getting to old for this crap I think. Maybe not old, just burned out I think.
I will sure be glad when this crappy transit is over. Although, I got my flights today and I will be on one of the longest flights I’ve ever been on. 16:55!!! Yes, that’s hours and I still won’t be home. Okay, so I take an 1:35 flight to Johannesburg, then a 16:55 flight to Atlanta and finish off with a 5.5 hour flight from Atlanta to Seattle. Oh, and I’m not done there yet! I still will have a 2 1/2 hour shuttle ride from Seattle to Oak Harbor. I will start the journey on the 16th and finish sometime late afternoon on the 17th. That’s a hell of a long journey back home.
I just want to let you all know that I am still making my daily videos and will be uploading them all just as soon as I get home and maybe even on the plane coming home. Damn that’s a long ass flight! Oh, almost forgot… I built a make shift bracket to mount my GoPro on to make motion picture movies. I am currently set up to do a map one that will show this entire trip. It will be my first motion picture movie, so I hope like hell it turns out the way I want it too. I also have another motion film I want to try and make with a stick figure dude. We shall see how these will turn out. I can tell you now, it’s a lot of work!
That’s it for now. Be safe and stay cool…
